Living Fully

Living Fully

Bohemian Bold cooking and living is about being adventurous.  Like a nomad or gypsy, I push the limits, albeit always using class and decorum, of each and every day of life.  My life is like an orange—I want to squeeze every drop of sweet nectar out of each day, and when that’s all gone, I’m going to zest the rind for more flavors.  The little things in life become the exhilarating and big things—it’s not about money or riches—it’s about looking at what you have, what you are doing and creating your own nirvana.   So…dance, sing, whistle, laugh, floss, travel…when the day’s gone—it’s gone—forever.

My Roots~~Finding Family in Croatia

Wearing my Oz red shoes and riding on my magic carpet, I had a real-life fairy-tale! Like a Nicholas Sparks’ novel, a Lifetime movie or, better yet, the movie, Pretty Woman’ {“I want the dream!}, this sojourn could not have been scripted any more perfectly~~it was probably ‘in the stars’…destined to happen…and, I know, orchestrated by the big guy upstairs ... Traveling. Black & White. Capturing Priceless People.

One of my most favorite past times when traveling is to watch people~~whether I’m sitting on a park bench, strolling  on the street, sitting at a sidewalk cafe, eating in a restaurant, shopping in a retail store, waiting in line wherever, being part of a tour group, or really most anything else, it’s the everyday normal people who capture my ...
