Gypsy Tables

It’s a big world out there…so many cultures, so many ethnicities, so many foods, traditions, customs, styles from home to fashion…sometimes were fortunate enough to be able to travel directly to exotic places and sample the food, the people, the lifestyle.  Sometimes we can’t.  But that doesn’t mean we can make global living part of our home regardless of what your station or lot is in life.  Going global is Bohemian…it’s ‘boho’ing’ your nest, your sanctuary–your home.  And, there’s nothing more sensuous than having a meal at a ‘gypsy table.’

I love to set my table in gypsy ways, which means there are no rules–you pick the colors, the patterns, the style–it’s up to you to make it speak to you, and that’s what being ‘boho’d’ is all about–when someone walks in your home, the personality speaks whispering ‘There’s more here than meets the eye…just journey into my life…’

Ally’s Boho HomePlace Tip:  Some of the best places to find the most interesting ‘stuff’…I mean stuff that talks to you…are thrift stores, consignment stores, yard sales, junk stores, pawn shops–don’t think it’s gotta be unused–personality comes from history!
